Hayley V. McMahon, MSPH, CPH

She/her. I am a Ph.D. student at the Emory Rollins School of Public Health, where I study social and structural determinants of abortion access. I hold a Master of Science in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and am a proud, first-generation college graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from Duke University. My research interests include abortion access in the southeastern U.S., self-managed medication abortion, health misinformation, and stigma. When I'm not working, I love advocating for reproductive justice, lounging with my cats and geckos, photographing wildlife, perusing used bookstores, napping, being loudly Appalachian, and traveling with my husband Bryan.
